開封儀表有限公司前身是開封儀表廠，始建于1958年，原機械工業部直屬重點企業, 是國內大型的流量儀表生產與測試基地。國家水大流量計量站、機械工業第十三計量測試中心站、機械工業流量儀表產品質量檢測中心均位于我公司。 其中，國家水大流量計量站是由國家質量監督檢驗檢疫總局授權建立的國家級法定計量檢定機構，承擔全國范圍內大口徑流量計檢定工作。另外，我公司建有目前國內較完善的流量標準裝置，有大、中、小型水流量、氣體流量、油流量等實流標準裝置和型式試驗設備，是我國介質較全、流量范圍較大的流量儀表生產試驗基地。
